Looking for an easy way to set up an email service for Mautic? You’re in the right place. You can streamline email marketing to automate recurring emails through SendGrid. If this is you are new to Mautic, this guide will help you launch your first email campaign.
Getting a SendGrid account is simple. With a free trial you can send 100 emails a day to a list of up to 2k contacts, but if your business is growing, you’ll need to subscribe to a monthly plan for larger volumes of email.
First you need to get your Mautic instance connected to SendGrid. So it’s important to integrate and configure the SendGrid API key with the right credentials and permissions. Under API Keys options, select full access API key in the popup, then click on “Create & View.”
Once the API Key is created, copy the key and save it in somewhere safe.
Input the SendGrid API Key into Mautic email settings along with a sending address and a custom return path address, then test connection to verify that the API key has been successfully authenticated.
After you have the API key authenticated in Mautic, enter security settings for the SMTP Sendgrid email gateway. Create a new credential for the IMAP access.
Once you have connected to SendGrid, your Mautic instance will display a success message.
